Briscoe Cain is a lifelong Harris County resident, the son of a refinery operator, and a graduate of Deer Park High School. He earned his Bachelor's at the University of Houston-Downtown and his law degree from South Texas College of Law, and today runs his own law practice in addition to serving in the Texas House.
His Texas roots run deep — his ancestor Andrew Briscoe fought in the Texian Army and signed the Texas Declaration of Independence. That same fight is what Briscoe and his wife Bergundi work to pass down to their kids, and to the families they serve across Congressional District 9.
